You may have heard about sitting, lying down or walking meditation. How about running meditation? (to meditate while running or running in a meditative mind). Here is to share Dadasu's technique on Running Meditation:
"Remember that the inner spirit of meditation is the feeling of oneness/connected with the Divine. And by that connection the meditator experiences a certain stage of bliss/love/freedom/realization/spiritual vibration/peace, etc depending on how deep the connection is. In this sense, the state of meditation can be achieved in any situation or position, just a matter of how skillful we are in channelizing the mind (from crude to subtle and from subtle to the subtlest). This type of Running Meditation suits best to those who are adventerous and love sports. Best to do in early morning in a natural environment. it is good to set earphone to keep on listening to your favorite spiritual songs while running. What you need to do is to run and run without concerning on your physical tiredness. Elevate your spiritual consciousness, think/feel that you are not the physical body but the divine soul within the body. If you have a mantra or some auto-suggestive words, you may repeat internally, such as "Om"(state of divine oneness), "I love God I love challenges", "I am spirit - tiredless, eternal, everjoy", "I and Him is one", "I am thinking He is thinking about me", or any others. When you feel so tired, that's the moment you should focus more on your mantra or auto-suggestion (which has spiritual meaning) but do not stop running. My personal experience says, I can run 10 kms non-stop in a meditative state of mind. It becomes my hobby, at least 3 times I do weekly. I could feel the latent energy of my spirit aroused (while I kept on running). When my mind stopped function on its tiring feeling at the same time my soul started taking over the role, charging my body and internal organs with fresh unexhausted energy. I went beyond my tiredness, felt increased energy instead and reached the final point with joy and wonder. I trust fully the infinite potency of my soul. And then I ended the practice with relaxation and sitting meditation, bringing the divine feeling & bliss deeper. Try it!", Dadasu : )
