A new dawn of joy has arisen for some of the local farmers in Xai-Xai in the form of support to their farming from COGEF Group in collaboration with Amurt Mozambique.

The project has been started with a simple opening ceremony attended by local leaders, representative of the donor, representatives of AMURT Moz, 24 local farmers (consisting of widows and less capable farmers) and some local activists.

This project will uplift the economy of the farmers as well as the feeding of 123 children in Ngululene and Xai-Xai by producing local crops, such as rice, ground nuts, vegetables, casava, maize and sweet potatoes.

After about 3 to 6 months, AMURT Organic Farming has been able to produce some vegetable crops to support 100 Children Feeding in Ngulelene, Mozambique.

Our Children Care in Mozambique received  donation of  $ 1,000 from a Korean sympathizer, Shantijii.  This helps us to sustain their basic needs as well as to do farming for more self-sustainability of the program. Yesterday after feeding, we planted 57 papaya seedlings with the children, some passion fruit seedlings, and preparation of field for pechay by our helpers. And then we play joyfully until late afternoon. Want to participate in the service? Contact: [email protected]
